FastFields is a cloud-based field maintenance documentation program providing template forms that step through field maintenance procedures for standard station types:
- Full weather station
- Stream monitoring station (includes calibration algorithm for pressure transducer)
- Rain monitoring station
- Roadway flasher
Each form steps a user through the maintenance procedures associated with the following station components:
- Power system (solar panel, charging regulator and battery)
- Radio transmission system (antenna system and radio, forward and reflected power, standing wave ration)
- Rain gage testing and calibration
- Water level sensor testing and calibration
- Weather sensor testing and calibration (wind, temperature, relative humidity)
- Data transmitter checks
- General site maintenance
- Roadway flashers
The FastField maintenance forms allow for the inclusion of site/station photos and automatically records the GPS location of a station. Completed maintenance forms are uploaded to a cloud server and are automatically emailed to a list of users (field technician, supervisors, system administrators).
FastField forms are easy and convenient to use from a smart phone or tablet. A field laptop is not required. A master database of all maintenance activities across multiple field technicians is maintained on the cloud for reference at any time making year-end reporting a breeze.
